Every summer, an international hammer-throwing and shot-putting meeting, called “Sithonia”, is organised in one of the most beautiful places in Halkidiki, Nikiti. It is one of the most important sports events in Northern Greece.
The organization of the throwing games “Sithonia 2017” started in 2002 by Nikos Papadimitriou. Top Greek throwing athletes are participating. During the last years, our gaming schedule includes also sports for smaller categories.
