The events of Polygyros Carnival are based mainly on the cultural potential of the Municipality and on the cooperation with local bodies, reducing the total cost of events to a minimum. The mass participation of local communities in the municipality as well as the voluntary participation is the key to success.
Events for young and old, musical performances, exhibitions, dancing rewards and of course the great parade of the last Sunday of the Carnival with the participation of hundreds of carnivalists in the city center make up the main features of the program each year.
The dances and the special events of the clubs and agencies of Polygyros are dominant, while all the night-time shops with special events, treats and many disguises sweep the audience in carnival rhythms.
