On the occasion of the celebration of Assumption of Mary the Association of Women in Vrastama and the villagers organize a weekend event at the chapel, the famous Koumaro Feast. Koumaros is a local drink (tsipouro) made in the area and visitors have the opportunity to try it during the events, which are framed by traditional music and the appropriate appetizers.
