Every year, on the 23rd of August, the Assumption of Mary is celebrated, the memorial of Mary, and the Church closes with the same festive mood the Assumption and the Metamorphosis of the Virgin, honoured on the 15th of August.
With a special splendor and honour, the memorial of Mary was celebrated in the local community of New Poteidea.
