The Municipality of Nea Propontida has ensured that both citizens and visitors have full accessibility to the water and the beautiful beaches of the Municipality. It concerns the implementation of a basic infrastructure system for people with disabilities in 9 beaches of the Municipality of Nea Propontida. The equipment is made up of amphibious wagons and special walkways (for access to water) for people with reduced mobility problems and the installation of chemical toilets in their respective locations. The location of the corridors and the carriages is close to the lifeguard and the beaches that are preconfigured are Sahara, Nea Kallikratia, Mykoniatika, Agios Mamas, Potidea, Nea Moudania, Dionysiou, Flogita and Nea Plagia.
