Saint Chaido is a new Martyr who was born and lived in the years of the Ottoman rule in Stanos. Her memory is celebrated each year on the 1st of September. On the eve of the feast there is a festive evening. On the same day there is a celebration of the feast day of Divine Liturgy and portrayal of the image. Immediately thereafter, within the church premises, the traditional turban takes place with free food for everyone At the same time, for approximately one week, the cultural club organises several events, with local traditional orchestras, well-known bands with Greek and foreign music and a presentation of theatrical performances and cinema.
